"My name is Casey Jones, and the reason I have this photo and your tech is because you gave it to me, but not yet. Because I'm from… the future."
– Casey introducing himself when he met the Turtles, Splinter and April
Casey Jones Jr, also simply known as Casey for short, as well 'Future Boy' (A title originally given to him by April O'Neil) is a young man who formerly resides in future of 2044, the former year where the Earth had been successfully consumed by the likes of the Krang, a pink, squid-like alien species who had managed to conquer the planet (And allegedly many others, as stated by Krang One in the movie) 20 years prior. At some point in this year, Casey became an affiliated member of The Resistance (a resistance faction presumingly built by Leonardo) which fought against The Krang after having been taken under the wing of Future Leonardo.
Casey, on the other hand, serves as one of the two deuteragonists (alongside Raph) of the film.
Physical appearance[]
Casey is presented as a streetwise and scrappy-like young man who sports a tall figure, a lanky-ish build, and possess an overall fair complexion. His jet black hair is long and portrayed as thin and unkempt, his hair extending just around shoulder-length; the backside of his hair having two, jaggedly pointed tufts curving outward oppositely on each side. His hair is also highlighted with darkish navy blue streaks, which could suggest greasiness in his hair.
Akin to his mothers features, Casey has dark brown eyes which are mostly just colored an onyx; having a matching scanty beard which is shown through four thin lines which are marked at the tip of his chin, also sporting a big nose, a pair of particularly large ears, and finally a chipped upper tooth.
For attire, Casey dresses in a pair of cuffed dark gray gloves which features gray accents on the backside of the knuckles, his body being donned in an olive green jumpsuit which has short, ruffed-like sleeves, the front of his jumpsuit having a bright cerulean chestplate which is etched with thin engravings meant to represent the Turtles' plastrons. He has pale yellow wraps muffled around his forearms and calves, the lower-part of his breastplate having a bright green fanny pack encircled around his waistline. He follows by wearing a pair of matching teal knee-pads which have darkish faces on them. He follows by perching a dark purple pauldron atop his right shoulder, layered with an asymmetrical light brown shawl which has a cowl neckline and a long cape cascading down the backside. Having the 'Genius Built' logo imprinted on the heart. He wears platformed green shoes, and finally, wears his white goaltender mask which is adorned with a pair of red cresent-like streaks which are meant to resemble that of Leonardo's markings.
Personality[]

Casey: With no mask
Casey is polite and kind, referring to Michelangelo and Leo by their full names and titles and saving Splinter from being injured by falling metal beams. He is mature, welcoming to others' input and aware of his limitations and proficiencies alike. He is also level-headed and approaches dangerous situations with care. Casey is unafraid of being quite direct and honest when upset, even towards those he looks up to as seen when he admonishes Leonardo for his heedless behavior.
History[]
With the resistance forces failing and being out numbered, Casey Jones carries a wounded Leonardo to safety. Leo instructs Michelangelo to open a time gateway to the day the Krang first arrived on Earth. Leo tells Casey that he will send him to the past in order to make sure the Krang never arrived on Earth. Their conversation is interrupted when Krang enemies spot them. Michelangelo then sacrifices himself to open the time gateway, crumbling before Casey and his brother. Leo thrusts Casey inside the gateway, and even as Casey is sucked into the past, the last he sees of his mentor is him bravely battling the forces of the Krang to the end.

Casey's point of view of the Turtles, April and Splinter
Casey wakes up in New York City and begins his mission to stop the Krang. attempting to find the key that will unleash the Krang. He takes a look at the photo that Leo gave him, and sees April holding something from Eastlaird University. Realizing that she'd be the easiest to track down, he goes to find "Commander O'Neil".
While Casey was fortunate enough to find her in front of the building, he was knocked out when startling an already high-strung April. He regains consciousness in the lair, tied to a chair and soon upside-down. The Mad Dogs interrogate him, disbelieving his claims until he name-drops the Krang, which shocks Splinter into realizing the young man's claims are in earnest. The Krang are an ancient species that fell from the stars about 1,000 years ago, and were sealed away by four Japanese warriors. Splinter had heard the tale of the Krang in his youth and knew how dangerous they could be. Casey says all they have to do is keep the keystone out of the hands of those who would summon the Krang, telling them that it's drawn on the back of the photo he had. The Turtles realize they're in trouble when it turns out the key was the very thing Leo lost to the Foot Clan earlier that day.

The Mad Dogs, now with Casey among them, head to track down the Foot, but are unsuccessful in keeping the Krang's prison gate from opening. Krang One steps out and trounces the Mad Dogs, including knocking the mystic powers out of the Turtles and April. He calls his brother and sister forth, and Krang Three goes to work expanding the portal so they can bring forth the Technodrome and Krang Two fends off the Mad Dogs. With Splinter injured and the Krang overwhelming them, Raphael calls for a retreat, and Donatello calls for his "Donnie Pods" to extract the group. At the last moment, Leo launches out his before it can secure him, and grabs the keystone, shutting down the portal. Just as Krang One attempts to murder Leo, Raph stands in the way and is stabbed through the carapace. He straps Leo into his Donnie Pod and sends Leo off with the key, resulting in Raph getting captured.

There it is! That's the key!
Leo arrives back at the lair, and declares that they need to get Raph back. April and Splinter stay back and try to destroy the key, while Leo, Mikey, Donnie, and Casey mount a rescue mission. Tracking Raph to Metro Tower, Leo tells them they need to sneak inside via the subway system. However, they are spotted by the goo that the Krang had engulfed the tower in, and the tunnel collapses, trapping Leo and Casey together. Realizing that Leo wasn't the "greatest ninja" that he had idolized, but instead an impulsive teenager, Casey chews him out for how close they came to getting killed. Leo realized he was right, and vowed to be better. The two of them burrowed out of the caved-in section and met up with the rest of the group upstairs, just before finding Raph in a pod above them.
Casey cuts down the pod, but upon Raph exiting it, he punches Leo. He began attacking his family and suddenly transformed into a Krang Zombie. Raph, now corrupted, attacks April and retrieves the key from her, where Raph then follows Krang One and Krang Two as they bring fourth the Technodrome upon New York City. As all hope seems lost and the Technodrome is unleashed, Leo is able to encourage his family and friends by coming up with a plan to save Raph and stop the Krang's invasion. While the Turtles make their way inside the Technodrome, Casey, April, and Splinter stay on the Earth's surface battling Krang Two with her now obtained Titan.

Casey tearfully closing the portal
As Casey finally makes it to the keystone, Leo instructs him to close the portal once he and Krang One are both inside the Prison Dimension, trapping him inside, with Leo insisting it's the only way to defeat him. Casey tearfully does as instructed, closing the portal to the prison dimension and destroying the Technodrome. Casey with tears in his eyes mourns the loss of Leo. However the brothers use their powers and Leo is saved, with Casey being fully accepted into the Hamato family.
Sometime later, the heroes enjoy pizza on top of the Brooklyn Bridge, with Casey revealing that former Foot Clan recruit Cassandra Jones is his mother. They watch the city as it is being rebuilt and make a vow to defend it when it is needed. Afterwards, Raph tries to break Leo's pizza box stack record.
